Districtwide Intervention Systems: Tools, Timelines, and Training

Dr. Jacqueline Trzynka and Jessica Wiswell

This session will share how one large school district in Minnesota has built strong practices in tiers 2 and 3 for social-emotional-behavioral student needs across grades and departments. Starting with student screening, selecting intervention resources, through progress-monitoring guides, Osseo will share how the work of their student support personnel fits into the district's overall MTSS framework.

  1. Increase understanding of how screening and intervention practices can be implemented by student support personnel,

  2. Gain ideas and tools for progress-monitoring and practice evaluation,

  3. Identify strategies to use to strengthen the work in participants’ settings.
