ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

The Minnesota School Social Workers Association (MSSWA) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including individuals with disabilities. We aim to provide an inclusive and user-friendly experience for school social workers, educators, members, and the broader community we serve.

Our goal is to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium. While MSSWA has not yet completed a formal third-party accessibility audit, we are actively working to improve the accessibility and usability of our website.

To support accessibility, MSSWA has taken steps including:

  • Using clear, consistent navigation and page structure

  • Applying readable fonts and spacing for improved legibility

  • Providing alternative text for images where possible

  • Considering color contrast to enhance readability

  • Working toward improved keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We are continually reviewing our website and implementing improvements to enhance accessibility across both new and existing content. Some materials, particularly older documents or archived resources, may not yet fully meet accessibility standards.

We welcome feedback from our users. If you experience any difficulty accessing content on this website or need assistance, please contact us at, msswafandm@gmail.com

We will make every reasonable effort to respond promptly and provide the information or support you need in an accessible format.

This statement was last updated on May 1, 2026. We, at MSSWA, are working to make our site msswa.org accessible to people with disabilities.
