Kathryn Cullen, MD
Professor, Division Director of Child and Adolescent Mental Health, University of Minnesota
Dr. Cullen is a tenured Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Minnesota, where she directs the Division of Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Her research lab is examining the neurodevelopmental underpinnings of depression, self-injury and suicide risk in adolescents and young adults, and investigating interventions aimed at promoting healthy trajectories in these youth. She has also been examining creativity in youth, and exploring creative arts interventions as a way to improve mental health and wellbeing in young people.

This workshop will discuss the importance of engaging in creative arts for well-being and thriving in adolescents.
